Work Showcase - filming a schools ‘think wild’ education

Role - Camera Operator

Production Company - Feel Good Films

Client - Walhampton School

I have had the pleasure of working as a camera operator with Feel Good Films on their long-running partnership with Walhampton School, an independent prep school near Lymington in Hampshire. The partnership runs through the academic year and covers website films, short-form social content and Open Day campaigns.

On set, my job was to capture natural, unposed moments of school life: pupils outdoors, in lessons and in co-curricular activities. That meant working quietly and responsively with the staff and children, which is what education filmmaking depends on. The footage feeds both the hero films and a growing archive the school's marketing team can use across social and paid campaigns.

This production was part of an ongoing parternship between Feel Good Films and the school, you can read more about that here - www.feelgoodfilmsco.com/project/walhampton-school
